Three Types of Sabr
1. Sabr in Hardship (Sabr 'ala al-Masa'ib)
When difficulties come - illness, loss, poverty - you remain patient, knowing:

- There is wisdom you may not see
- Reward awaits those who are patient
2. Sabr in Obedience (Sabr 'ala al-Ta'ah)
Staying consistent in worship requires patience:

- Fasting in Ramadan
- Performing Hajj
- Daily prayers despite busy schedules
3. Sabr from Sin (Sabr 'an al-Ma'siyah)
Restraining yourself from what Allah has forbidden:
- Avoiding haram temptations
- Controlling anger
- Resisting peer pressure

The Story of Prophet Ayyub (Job)
Prophet Ayyub lost his wealth, his children, and his health. His wife asked why he didn't complain. He said: "I lived in prosperity for 80 years. Shouldn't I be patient for 7 years?"
His patience was so remarkable that Allah restored everything and more.
Beautiful Patience (Sabr Jameel)
When Prophet Ya'qub lost his son Yusuf, he said: "Patience is most fitting for me" (صَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ). This "beautiful patience" means:
- Not complaining to people
