Sahih Muslim 2723
أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Transliteration
Asbahna wa asbahal-mulku lillah, wal-hamdu lillah, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer
Meaning
We have reached the morning and at this very time unto Allah belongs all sovereignty. All praise is for Allah. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, without any partner. To Him belongs all praise and sovereignty, and He is over all things capable.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6306
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Transliteration
Allahumma Anta Rabbi la ilaha illa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduk, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata't, a'oodhu bika min sharri ma sana't, aboo'u laka bini'matika 'alayya, wa aboo'u bidhanbi faghfir li fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunooba illa Ant.
Meaning
O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no deity worthy of worship except You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide by Your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I confess my sins to You, so forgive me, for none forgives sins except You.
Sunan Abi Dawud 5088, Jami' at-Tirmidhi 3388
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
Transliteration
Bismillahil-ladhee la yadurru ma'as-mihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-samaa'i wa huwas-Samee'ul-'Aleem
Meaning
In the Name of Allah, with Whose Name nothing on the earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. (Recite 3 times)
Sunan Abi Dawud 5072, Jami' at-Tirmidhi 3389
رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَبِيًّا
Transliteration
Radheetu billahi Rabbaa, wa bil-Islami deenaa, wa bi Muhammadin sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallama Nabiyyaa
Meaning
I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion, and with Muhammad ﷺ as my Prophet. (Recite 3 times)
Sunan Abi Dawud 5074, Sunan Ibn Majah 3871
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي
Transliteration
Allahumma innee as'alukal-'afwa wal-'aafiyata fid-dunya wal-aakhirah. Allahumma innee as'alukal-'afwa wal-'aafiyata fee deenee wa dunyaaya wa ahlee wa maalee

O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this life and the next. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religious commitment, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth.
Sahih Muslim 2723
أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Transliteration
Amsayna wa amsal-mulku lillah, wal-hamdu lillah, la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer

I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created. (Recite 3 times)
Sahih Muslim 2726
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ، وَرِضَا نَفْسِهِ، وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ، وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ
Transliteration
Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi 'adada khalqihi, wa rida nafsihi, wa zinata 'arshihi, wa midada kalimatih
Meaning
Glory and praise be to Allah as many times as the number of His creation, in accordance with His pleasure, to the weight of His Throne, and the extent of His words.

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
Transliteration
Allahu la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum. La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm. Lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-ard. Man dhal-ladhee yashfa'u 'indahooo illa bi-idhnih. Ya'lamu ma bayna aydeehim wa ma khalfahum, wa la yuheetoona bi-shay'im-min 'ilmihee illa bima shaaa'. Wasi'a kursiyyuhus-samawati wal-ard, wa la ya'ooduhu hifzuhuma, wa Huwal-'Aliyyul-'Azeem.
Meaning
Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.
Sahih al-Bukhari 5017
قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
Transliteration
Qul Huwallahu Ahad... Qul a'oodhu bi Rabbil-Falaq... Qul a'oodhu bi Rabbin-Nas...
Meaning
Recite Surah Al-Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq, and Surah An-Nas into cupped hands, blow gently, and wipe over your body starting from head and face (Repeat 3 times).
Sunan an-Nasa'i 10631, Al-Hakim (Sahih)
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ، رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفَّارُ
Transliteration
La ilaha illallahul-Wahidul-Qahhar, Rabbus-samawati wal-ardi wa ma baynahumal-'Azeezul-Ghaffar
Meaning
There is no deity except Allah, the One, the Subduer, Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver.
Sahih al-Bukhari 6312
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Transliteration
Alhamdu lillahil-ladhee ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilayhin-nushoor
Meaning
All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us, and unto Him is the resurrection.
Sahih al-Bukhari 1154
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Transliteration
La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer. Subhanallah, wal-hamdu lillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wallahu akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah

Whoever wakes up at night and recites this, then says 'O Allah, forgive me' (Allahumma-ghfir li) or asks of Allah, their prayer is answered.

Transliteration
Ashhadu an la ilaha illallahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasooluh. Allahummaj-'alnee minat-tawwabeena waj-'alnee minal-mutatahhireen
Meaning
I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. O Allah, make me among those who constantly repent and make me among those who purify themselves.
Sunan Abi Dawud 775, Jami' at-Tirmidhi 242
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ، وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ، وَلَا إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ
Transliteration
Subhanakallahumma wa bihamdika, wa tabarakasmuka, wa ta'ala jadduka, wa la ilaha ghayruk
Meaning
Glory is to You, O Allah, and all praise. Blessed is Your Name, exalted is Your majesty, and there is no deity other than You.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
Transliteration
Alhamdu lillahil-ladhee at'amanee hadha wa razaqaneehi min ghayri hawlin minnee wa la quwwah
Meaning
All praise is for Allah Who fed me this and provided it for me without any might or power from myself.

اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيمَا رَزَقْتَهُمْ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ، وَارْحَمْهُمْ
Transliteration
Allahumma barik lahum feema razaqtahum, waghfir lahum, warhamhum
Meaning
O Allah, bless for them what You have provided them, forgive them, and have mercy upon them.
Surah Az-Zukhruf 43:13-14, Sahih Muslim 1342
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ، وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ
Transliteration
Subhanal-ladhee sakhkhara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrineen, wa inna ila Rabbina lamunqaliboon
Meaning
Glory unto Him Who created this transportation for us though we were unable to conquer it on our own. And verily, unto our Lord we shall return.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى، وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَى، اللَّهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا سَفَرَنَا هَذَا وَاطْوِ عَنَّا بُعْدَهُ
Transliteration
Allahumma inna nas'aluka fee safarina hadhal-birra wat-taqwa, wa minal-'amali ma tarda. Allahumma hawwin 'alayna safarana hadha watwi 'anna bu'dah

O Allah, we ask You in this journey of ours for righteousness, piety, and actions that please You. O Allah, ease this journey for us and shorten its distance.

آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ
Transliteration
Aayiboona, taa'iboona, 'aabidoona, li Rabbina haamidoon

We return, repenting, worshipping, and praising our Lord.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا
Transliteration
Bismillahi walajna, wa bismillahi kharajna, wa 'alallahi Rabbina tawakkalna
Meaning
In the name of Allah we enter, in the name of Allah we leave, and upon Allah our Lord we place our trust. (Then greet the household).
Sunan Abi Dawud 5095, Jami' at-Tirmidhi 3426
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Transliteration
Bismillahi, tawakkaltu 'alallah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah

In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah; there is no power and no might except through Allah.

Alhamdu lillahil-ladhee kasaanee hadhath-thawba wa razaqaneehi min ghayri hawlin minnee wa la quwwah

All praise is for Allah Who clothed me with this garment and provided it for me without any might or power on my part.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ
Transliteration
Sneezer says: 'Alhamdulillah' (Praise be to Allah). Listener responds: 'Yarhamukallah' (May Allah have mercy on you). Sneezer replies: 'Yahdeekumullahu wa yuslihu balakum'.
Meaning
Sneezer says 'Praise be to Allah', the listener says 'May Allah have mercy on you', and the sneezer replies 'May Allah guide you and rectify your condition'.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ

Bismillahi, was-salatu was-salamu 'ala Rasoolillah. Allahummaftah lee abwaba rahmatik
Meaning
In the name of Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

Allahumma Rabba hadhihid-da'watit-tammah, was-salatil-qaa'imah, aati Muhammadanil-waseelata wal-fadeelah, wab'athhu maqamam-mahmoodanil-ladhee wa'adtah

O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer, grant Muhammad the station of highest honor and excellence, and resurrect him to the praised station which You have promised him.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Transliteration
La ilaha illa Anta subhanaka innee kuntu minaz-zalimeen

There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers. (No Muslim supplicates with this during distress except that Allah relieves them).

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from grief and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debt, and from being overpowered by men.

There is no deity except Allah, the Magnificent, the Forbearing. There is no deity except Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne. There is no deity except Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, and Lord of the Noble Throne.
Surah At-Tawbah 9:129, Sunan Abi Dawud 5081
حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
Transliteration
Hasbiyallahu la ilaha illa Huwa, 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa Rabbul-'Arshil-'Atheem
Meaning
Allah is sufficient for me; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne. (Recited 7 times in morning and evening).
Sunan an-Nasa'i 10405, Al-Hakim (Sahih)
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ، أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ، وَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ
Transliteration
Ya Hayyu ya Qayyoomu birahmatika astagheeth, aslih lee sha'nee kullah, wa la takilnee ila nafsee tarfata 'ayn
Meaning
O Ever-Living, O Sustainer of existence, by Your mercy I seek assistance. Rectify for me all of my affairs and do not leave me in charge of myself even for the blink of an eye.
Sunan Abi Dawud 1517, Jami' at-Tirmidhi 3577
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيَّ الْقَيُّومَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
Transliteration
Astaghfirullahal-ladhee la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyooma wa atoobu ilayh
Meaning
I seek forgiveness from Allah, besides Whom there is no deity, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence, and I turn to Him in repentance.
Surah Al-A'raf 7:23
رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنْفُسَنَا وَإِنْ لَمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Transliteration
Rabbana zalamna anfusana wa il-lam taghfir lana wa tarhamna lana-koonanna minal-khasireen
Meaning
Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers.
Sahih al-Bukhari 834, Sahih Muslim 2705
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا، وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ، وَارْحَمْنِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
Transliteration
Allahumma innee zalamtu nafsee zulman katheera, wa la yaghfirudh-dhunooba illa Ant, faghfir lee maghfiratan min 'indika warhamnee, innaka Antal-Ghafoorur-Raheem
Meaning
O Allah, I have wronged myself greatly, and none forgives sins except You, so grant me forgiveness from You and have mercy upon me; indeed, You are the Forgiving, the Merciful.
Sahih Muslim 2708
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
Transliteration
A'oodhu bikalimatil-lahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq
Meaning
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
Sahih al-Bukhari 3371
أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
Transliteration
U'eedhukuma bikalimatil-lahit-tammati min kulli shaytanin wa hammah, wa min kulli 'aynin lammah
Meaning
I seek refuge for you in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and poisonous creature, and from every evil, envious eye.
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad (Al-Bukhari) 716
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِمَا لَا أَعْلَمُ
Transliteration
Allahumma innee a'oodhu bika an ushrika bika wa ana a'lam, wa astaghfiruka lima la a'lam
Meaning
O Allah, I seek refuge in You lest I associate anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for that which I do not know.
Surah Al-Baqarah 2:201
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Transliteration
Rabbana aatina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-aakhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhaban-nar
Meaning
Our Lord, give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
Surah Ali 'Imran 3:8
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
Transliteration
Rabbana la tuzigh quloobana ba'da idh hadaytana wa hab lana mil-ladunka rahmah, innaka Antal-Wahhab
Meaning
Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
Surah Taha 20:114
رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Transliteration
Rabbi zidnee 'ilma
Meaning
My Lord, increase me in knowledge.
Surah Taha 20:25-28
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
Transliteration
Rabbish-rah lee sadree, wa yassir lee amree, wahlul 'uqdatam-mil-lisanee, yafqahoo qawlee
Meaning
My Lord, expand for me my breast [with confidence], ease for me my task, and untie the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech.
Surah Al-Baqarah 2:250
رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Transliteration
Rabbana afrigh 'alayna sabran wa thabbit aqdamana wansurna 'alal-qawmil-kafireen
Meaning
Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.
Sahih Muslim 2202
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ (ثَلاثاً)، أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ (سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ)
Transliteration
Put hand on pain and say 'Bismillah' (3 times), then 'A'oodhu billahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhadhir' (7 times)
Meaning
Place your hand on the spot where you feel pain and say 'Bismillah' 3 times, then say 7 times: 'I seek refuge in Allah and His power from the evil of what I find and fear.'
Sunan Abi Dawud 3106, Jami' at-Tirmidhi 2083
أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ (سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ)
Transliteration
As'alullahal-'Atheema Rabbal-'Arshil-'Atheemi an yashfiyak (7 times)
Meaning
I ask Allah the Almighty, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, to heal you. (Say 7 times)
Sahih al-Bukhari 5743, Sahih Muslim 2191
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِبِ الْبَاسَ، اشْفِهِ وَأَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
Transliteration
Allahumma Rabban-naas, adh-hibil-ba's, ishfihi wa Antash-Shafee, la shifaa'a illa shifaa'uk, shifaa'an la yughadiru saqama
Meaning
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the affliction and heal him. You are the Healer; there is no healing except Your healing, a cure that leaves behind no illness.
Surah Al-Anbiya 21:83
أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
Transliteration
Annee massaniyad-durru wa Anta Arhamur-Rahimeen
Meaning
Indeed, adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.
Sahih al-Bukhari 1166
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ، وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ، وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ، وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ
Transliteration
Allahumma innee astakheeruka bi'ilmika, wa astaqdiruka biqudratika, wa as'aluka min fadlikal-'atheem, fa innaka taqdiru wa la aqdir, wa ta'lamu wa la a'lam, wa Anta 'Allamul-ghuyoob
Meaning
O Allah, I consult You through Your knowledge, and I seek ability through Your power, and I ask You from Your immense bounty. For You are capable and I am not, and You know and I do not, and You are the Knower of the unseen.
Sahih Muslim 2721
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
Transliteration
Allahumma innee as'alukal-huda wat-tuqa wal-'afafa wal-ghina
Meaning
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi 3522
يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ
Transliteration
Ya Muqallibal-quloobi thabbit qalbee 'ala deenik
Meaning
O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion.
Surah Al-Isra 17:24
رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Transliteration
Rabbir-hamhuma kama rabbayanee sagheera
Meaning
My Lord, have mercy upon them [my parents] as they brought me up when I was small.
Surah Ibrahim 14:41
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ يَقُومُ الْحِسَابُ
Transliteration
Rabbanagh-fir lee wa liwalidayya wa lil-mu'mineena yawma yaqoomul-hisab
Meaning
Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.
Surah Al-Furqan 25:74
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Transliteration
Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhurriyyatina qurrata a'yunin waj'alna lil-muttaqeena imama
Meaning
Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.
Surah Ali 'Imran 3:38
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
Transliteration
Rabbi hab lee mil-ladunka dhurriyyatan tayyibatan innaka Samee'ud-du'aa'
Meaning
My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication.
Sunan Abi Dawud 2357
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ، وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ، وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
Transliteration
Dhahabadh-dhama'u wabtallatil-'urooqu wa thabatal-ajru in sha'Allah
Meaning
The thirst has gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.
Jami' at-Tirmidhi 3513, Sunan Ibn Majah 3850
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Transliteration
Allahumma innaka 'Afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa fa'fu 'annee
Meaning
O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me.
Sahih al-Bukhari 1894, Sahih Muslim 1151

Transliteration
